The Vivian Tye Scholarship was established in memory of Vivian Tye Simpson, a dedicated educator and Humboldt State University graduate who devoted her career to teaching and supporting students. Vivian taught at schools in Weaverville and Hayfork, where she made a lasting difference in the lives of children and families.
To honor Vivian’s commitment to education, this scholarship provides financial support to students who are pursuing careers as educators and teachers. Through this scholarship, we hope to continue Vivian’s legacy by helping future educators achieve their educational goals and inspire, teach, and support the next generation of students.
